KANSAS CITY, Mo. - As we near the halfway mark of winter, one area utility company wants to remind people there is help if they can't pay their bills.
Evergy says residents can receive over $2,200 in Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program relief for their energy bills.
Missouri customers can apply year-round for the relief. More information about what you need to qualify, and to submit an application, can be found at mydss.mo.gov/utility-assistance.
