Letters of Interest to fill council seat due by 5:00 p.m. Thursday

The city of Maryville is hoping someone out there has what it takes to be on the city council.

Because of last month's resignation of councilwoman Rachael Martin, the city is requesting that people interested in filling the remainder of her term submit a letter of interest. The letter should be addressed to the mayor and city council and contain information regarding their background and why they are interested. Interested parties must also be 21, a registered voter, with no tax errors, and a resident of Maryville for at least a year.

You can submit your letter of interest to the city clerk in-person, by mail to City Hall or by email to [email protected]. Letters of interest are due by the end of the day Thursday, July 21st.
