Maryville Public Library hosting unique summer program

MARYVILLE, Mo. - Maryville Public Library is hosting Stephen King's Adult Summer Book Club. The selected book for June is "The Green Mile."

Adults can register for free and borrow a copy at the front desk with an active library card. The program has a limited availability of 20 copies, which will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.

The book club will meet on June 29 for a discussion in the library basement, followed by a movie showing.

Stephen King's Adult Summer Book Club is an additional offering provided by the library and does not replace the ongoing Adult Summer Reading Program.
