MU Extension Office to discuss spring forage

MARYVILLE, Mo. - The University of Missouri Extension Office will hold a meeting to discuss the limited amount of spring forage production and how to help producers manage their livestock when supplies are limited.

University of Missouri Extension field specialist in agronomy Wayne Flanary says topics include feeding options and costs, pasture recovery and reseeding, herd management, and more.

The forage meeting will be Thursday, Aug. 3 at the Nodaway County Administration Building in Maryville starting at 1 p.m.
