CLARINDA, Iowa - The Lied Public Library in Clarinda is thrilled to host the Open Book Project this Saturday from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m.
This event brings together individuals with diverse backgrounds, turning their life experiences into powerful narratives that resonate with audiences.
The hearts of this event are Carrie Jacobs, who will share her story of growing up on a small family farm in Lacona, and Patrick Karemera, who will share his journey from the Democratic Republic of Congo to Iowa.
The library invites you to join them for this engaging and enriching experience with opportunities to interact with Carrie and Patrick as they share their life stories. For more information, visit clarindapubliclibrary.org.
