ST. JOSEPH, Mo. - In a boost to local conservation efforts, a St. Joseph native takes on the role of the Missouri Department of Conservation’s new agent patrolling Buchanan County.
According to a press release, Kelsey Gillenwater is a graduate in wildlife conservation and management and brings a deep appreciation for the outdoors shaped by her family.
With a passion instilled through hunting, fishing, and farming experiences, she fulfilled her high school dream of becoming a conservation agent.
After graduating from MDC’s Conservation Agent Training Academy, Gillenwater is eager to engage with the community, fostering a love for the outdoors and sharing the wealth of natural resources.
