MARYVILLE, Mo. - Maryville residents have an opportunity to assist the City of Maryville in completing a crucial service line inventory, and there's an incentive involved.
The Public Works Department is urging residents to participate in identifying their water service lines, which are the pipes bringing water from the city's mainline to individual homes.
This initiative is part of a requirement from the Missouri Department of Natural Resources. The survey aims to gather information about the materials used in each service line.
Residents who complete the survey with accurate information by June 15, will receive a $20 credit on a future utility bill.
However, it's important to note that the application of this credit may take up to three billing cycles. To participate, residents can visit maryville.org/leadinventory.
