Parties on the Parkway returns next month

ST. JOSEPH, Mo. - St. Joseph's beloved Parties on the Parkway concert series returns with a lineup that promises to delight music lovers of all ages.

Hosted by the St. Joseph Chamber of Commerce and the City of St. Joseph, admission is free to every show on every second Thursday of the month from May to September.

Performing on May 9 is the retro hits band, the All Stars Band, at SW Parkway and King Hill Drive. Then on June 13, Country performer Michael Shaun Brown will be playing at SW Parkway and 28th St.

Afro-Latin Rock band Making Movies then comes on July 11 to perform at SW Noyes and Messanie Parkway A. On August 8, R&B and Funk band, Doc's 100 Proof, performs at Corby Pond.

Rounding out the concert series will be the alternative rock band, Happy Endings, on September 12 at the Remington Nature Center.
