ST. JOSEPH, Mo. - In celebration of National Library Week, the St. Joseph Public Library is hosting a variety of activities this week.

With the theme "Ready, Set, Library," this year's celebration highlights the unique role libraries play in our digital age. During the week, visitors to any of the library's locations can participate in prize drawings.

Prizes range from copies of beloved children's books to Visa gift cards for older readers. It's a chance for patrons of all ages to engage with their local library and potentially win exciting rewards.

National Library Week, established in 1958 by the American Library Association, is an annual celebration of libraries and their impact on communities across the nation.
