Iowa DNR offering assistance to those impacted by recent storms

DES MOINES, Iowa - The Iowa Department of Natural Resources is offering assistance to landowners affected by recent storms with forest storm damage assessments and recovery plans.

A district forester covering 11 counties in southern and southwest Iowa for the Iowa DNR says they are beginning to receive calls as cleanup progresses.

Landowners can find a map and contact information for their local district foresters online at the Iowa DNR website. For more details, visit iowadnr.gov.
