"Art in the Garden" coming to Chillicothe

CHILLICOTHE, Mo. - The Cultural Corner Art Guild and Gallery is hosting a unique “Art in the Garden” event on Sunday, June 9, from 4 to 7 p.m. at The Gardens at Hedrick Medical Center in Chillicothe.

This special event will feature performances by award-winning vocalist Ben Jones, a local cellist, and the Saint Joseph jazz duo Bard Eclectic. Headlining the event is internationally renowned guitarist Anthony Glise.

Attendees will enjoy live music, art demonstrations, and performances by actors from the Chillicothe Theatre Company and young dancers from Ballet Arts Center.

Guests can also participate in a communal art canvas and have their photos professionally taken. Tickets can be purchased by calling 660-240-5022 or visiting the gallery.

In case of rain, the event will be held on Sunday, June 16. All proceeds benefit Cultural Corner, a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting art in the community.
