DES MOINES, Iowa - The Iowa State Fair is seeking nominations for the 2024 Iowan of the Day awards.
The Iowa State Fair Blue Ribbon Foundation will honor 10 outstanding Iowans who demonstrate integrity, leadership, and hard work.
Winners receive a day of recognition at the fair, gate admission for four, $200 cash, a golf cart for use at the fair, VIP parking, and more.
Previous recipients of the award range from a young girl raising funds for school milk programs to dedicated community volunteers.
Nominees must be Iowa residents, and past nominations from 2021, 2022, and 2023 will also be considered.
Submit nomination forms and references by July 1 at blueribbonfoundation.org or contact the Blue Ribbon Foundation at 1-800-450-3732 for more information.
