NEBRASKA CITY, Neb. - The Morton-James Public Library in Nebraska City will host a special program titled "Monster Within – Monster Stories and What They Mean."
Speaker Christopher Krampe will come to the library on Sept. 5 at 7 p.m. in the Kimmel Gallery to explore why humans have always been fascinated by monsters.
The talk will examine how monsters, found in art and stories throughout history, reflect our deeper fears and help us navigate an often frightening world.
This event is part of Humanities Nebraska’s Speakers Bureau, which offers educational programs across the state. The program is free and open to the public. For more information, visit humanitiesnebraska.org.
