CHILLCIOTHE, Mo. - The Livingston County Library is bringing back its popular “Music on the Porch” event on Aug. 31, but with a twist. This year, the "porch" will be indoors in the cool comfort of the library's second-floor courtroom.
From 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., people can enjoy live performances at multiple venues along the 400 block of Locust Street, including the library, Lifepoint Church, and the Cultural Corner Art Guild and Gallery.
The event kicks off at the library with scheduled performances until 7 p.m., followed by an open mic session.
Lifepoint Church will feature its worship band, and Cultural Corner will host an open mic from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m., followed by scheduled sets until 8 p.m. For more information, contact the Livingston County Library at 660-240-8042.
