87th Annual Pickering Horse Show happening this weekend

PICKERING, Mo. - The 87th annual Pickering Horse Show, hosted by the Pickering Lions Club, will take place this Friday and Saturday at the Pickering Rodeo Arena.

Friday night kicks off with a performance by musician Carlene Hall, followed by the annual Overload Draft Horse Pull. On Saturday, the Poker Run begins at 10:30 a.m., with registration starting an hour prior.

Proceeds benefit scholarships through the Pickering Lions Club. The horse show continues at 4 p.m. with youth stick horse races, barrel races, a queen contest, pole bending, and more.
