ST. JOSEPH, Mo. - The St. Joseph Public Library's East Hills branch is hosting a Dyslexia Awareness Series in October, aimed at helping parents and educators better understand and support students with dyslexia.
Jamie Davis, a Certified Academic Language Therapist, will lead three sessions. The series kicks off this Thursday at 5:30 p.m. with a dyslexia simulation.
Additional sessions include recognizing the signs of dyslexia on October 9 at 6 p.m., and best practices for supporting students with dyslexia on October 17th at 6 p.m.
