ST. JOSEPH, Mo. - The City of St. Joseph Health Department will host its annual free flu and COVID-19 vaccination clinic Friday, October 11 at the Civic Arena.

The clinic runs from 9 a.m. to noon or until supplies last, offering vaccines to residents and workers in Buchanan County aged 19 and older who are not pregnant.

Attendees should wear a shirt that allows easy access to the shoulder for vaccination. The vaccines are free, and while insurance is accepted, it’s not required.

Patrons with private insurance, Medicare, or Missouri HealthNet should bring their card, but no out-of-pocket costs will apply.

WIC services will continue at the Health Department Friday, but all other services will resume next Monday.

The Health Department encourages everyone over six months old to get vaccinated for protection against flu and COVID-19, especially those at high risk. For more details, contact the Health Department at 816-271-4636.
