Christmas Gala returning to Brownville next month

BROWNVILLE, Neb. - The Brownville Concert Series wraps up its 2024 season with its annual Christmas Gala, featuring Alex Rybeck and Friends in “Bringing It Home.”

This festive musical celebration takes the stage Friday and Saturday, December 13 and 14, at 7:30 p.m., and Sunday, December 15, at 2 p.m. at Brownville’s historic concert hall.

Created by Alex Rybeck in 2010 specifically for Brownville, the show brings back the original cast of acclaimed performers Jeff Harnar, Todd Murray, Anna Bergman, and Klea Blackhurst.

Expect a mix of Broadway classics, holiday favorites, and stunning vocal performances. Rybeck, a Broadway veteran and award-winning music director, leads this ensemble.

Highlights include Harnar’s celebrated cabaret style, Murray’s romantic baritone, Bergman’s international acclaim in opera and Broadway, and Blackhurst’s comedic tributes to Ethel Merman.
