CORNING, Iowa - The Corning Volunteer Fire Department is hosting a fundraiser this Saturday, November 16 to support North Carolina fire departments hit hard by Hurricane Helene.
The breakfast-style event will take place at the Southwest Valley High School Activity Center from 4 to 8 p.m. Funds will help fellow first responders impacted by the September storm.
Guests can enjoy a meal featuring french toast, scrambled eggs, sausage, and biscuits and gravy, along with a pie auction held every hour. Live music from Tyler Folkerts will add to the evening’s atmosphere.
Corning Fire t-shirts will be on sale, with proceeds going to North Carolina departments. Donations can also be mailed to the Corning Fire Department.
