BLUE SPRINGS, Mo. - The Missouri Department of Conservation is hosting a presentation by a woman who paddled the Missouri River this summer.

Dee Landau started at the beginning of the river in Montana and paddled it all the way down to its intersection in Saint Louis with the Mississippi river. This is the first presentation she has done about her trip since it happened.

She traveled the whole river in 83 days. The event will be hosted 6:30 to 8 p.m. on December 6 at the MDC's Burr Oak Woods Conservation Nature Center.

For those who cannot attend the event in person, there is a virtual option that one must register for. Questions about the event can be directed to 816-228-3766.
