ST. JOSEPH, Mo. - Two suspects have been arrested and charged in connection with last Sunday’s fatal shooting in midtown St. Joseph.

The St. Joseph Police Department reports that 36-year-old Brian Helm and 23-year-old Melanie Myers have been charged with second-degree murder in the death of 36-year-old Dustin Allen Graham, also of St. Joseph.

Police responded to reports of shots fired near North 20th and Jules Street just after noon on November 10. Graham was found inside a vehicle in the 1900 block of Jules, suffering from a gunshot wound.
