Northwest Missouri State has a new head golf coach.
Athletic director Andy Peterson tabbed Lathan Croy as the leader of the program Friday morning.
Croy has been on staff as a student assistant, then graduate assistant since his arrival at Northwest in 2020. During his time with the program, Croy's aided Bearcat golf as the team's posted seven of the 10 best single-round scores in program history. He also worked with Paige Hoffman on her way to an individual MIAA crown and the NCAA Division 2 Championship meet in 2023.
Croy was a first team all-region golfer at North Central Missouri College. He earned his bachelor's and master's degrees from Northwest.
