Delivery and sorting facility being planned for Maryville

MARYVILLE, Mo. - Maryville is close to securing a new delivery and sorting facility that could bring up to 30 full-time jobs to the area.

The City Council approved a stormwater management plan, which is required for any new large construction project, for the 11,800-square-foot facility at 701 Wilson Industrial Road.

Public Works Director Matt Smith says the facility is expected to serve as a last-mile delivery fulfillment center.

While the company behind the project has not been named, the approval signals that a deal is near completion.
