DES MOINES, Iowa - The Iowa Department of Natural Resources (DNR) is hosting a series of public meetings to review hunting and trapping seasons, discuss potential rule changes, and gather feedback.

The meetings, held across the state, are open to the public and provide a chance for residents to hear directly from local DNR staff.

In our listening area, a meeting is scheduled for Monday, February 17 at 6:30 p.m. at the Southwest Iowa Sportsman’s Club in Glenwood.

Another session will take place on Thursday, February 20 at 6 p.m. at the Performing Arts Building in Creston.

DNR officials encourage participation, noting that public input will be considered when proposing changes to hunting and trapping regulations.

Proposed rules will be reviewed by the Natural Resource Commission during a public meeting. For a full schedule of meetings, visit the Iowa DNR website or contact them at 515-725-8200.
