Kansas company acquires Ideal Crane in St. Joseph

BONNER SPRINGS, Kan. - Wilkerson Crane Rental, a Bonner Springs-based company specializing in crane and lifting services, has announced the acquisition of Ideal Crane in St. Joseph.

According to a news release, the acquisition strengthens Wilkerson's position and expands its capabilities to better serve clients across the central United States.

Owner and Board Chair Diana Holt said Ideal Crane has built a strong reputation, and the partnership will allow both companies to combine their expertise and commitment to safety.

CEO Cody Ward called the deal a strategic fit within Wilkerson’s growth plans, while General Manager Larry Smith welcomed Ideal Crane’s longtime leadership into the Wilkerson family.
