MARYVILLE, Mo. - The Maryville Public Library is kicking off the new year with a special program to help adults learn how to eat healthy on a budget.
The class, led by Debbie Bennett, a nutrition and health specialist with the University of Missouri Extension, will take place on January 29 at 5:30 p.m. in the library basement.
Participants will hear valuable nutritional tips and get hands-on experience preparing a healthy snack. Bennett, who teaches physical activity and nutrition programs across Nodaway, Atchison, and Holt counties, will guide the session.
Registration is required, with only 30 spots available. Adults can sign up at the library’s front desk or by calling 660-582-5281. While the program is designed for adults, youth ages 13 and up are welcome to attend with an adult.
