Nodaway Chorale preparing for spring rehearsal season

MARYVILLE, Mo. - The Nodaway Chorale is kicking off its spring rehearsal season on Monday, January 27, at 7 p.m. at the First Christian Church in Maryville.

Rehearsals will continue weekly on Mondays from 7 to 9 p.m. in preparation for an April concert.

This season, the community chorus will present “Music, She Wrote,” a program exclusively featuring music composed or arranged by women.

The concert will showcase a variety of genres, including works by historic composers and renowned artists like Joni Mitchell, Carole King, and Dolly Parton.

Music Director Jim Rash says the group is excited to build on the momentum of their record-breaking holiday concert and deliver an appealing spring performance.
