St. Joseph, Mo. – The following is a list of general highway maintenance and construction work the Missouri Department of Transportation has planned in the Northwest Missouri region for the week of Jan. 27-Feb. 2.

There also may be moving operations throughout the region, in addition to the work mentioned below. Inclement weather may cause schedule changes in some of the planned work. Check the MoDOT Traveler Information Map at http://traveler.modot.org, or download the app for updated information.

Atchison County

U.S. Route 136 – Pothole patching from the Brownville Bridge to Route M, Jan. 28-29.

Caldwell County

Route M – CLOSED for a culvert replacement from NE Chicago Drive to U.S. Route 36, Jan. 29, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Chariton County

Route 11 – CLOSED at the Salt Creek Bridge for a bridge replacement project through March 2025. (Capital-Horner & Shifrin). *1

Route J - CLOSED at the Bridge Creek Bridge for a bridge replacement project through May 2025. (Capital-Horner & Shifrin). *1

Route E – Bridge maintenance at the bridge over U.S. Route 65, Jan. 27-30.

Daviess County

Route M – CLOSED for a culvert replacement from County Road 265 to County Road 280, Jan. 27, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Route V – CLOSED for a culvert replacement from Quarry Road to Shady Road, Jan 27, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Route MM – Pothole patching, Jan. 27-31.

Route M – CLOSED for a culvert replacement from County Road 290 to Vista Road, Jan. 28, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Route V – CLOSED for a culvert replacement from Quarry Road to Route 190, Jan 28, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Route V – CLOSED for a culvert replacement from Shady Road to Route 190, Jan 29, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Nodaway County

Route NN – CLOSED until further notice at the Platte River Bridge west of Parnell due to significant bridge deterioration. This bridge is currently scheduled for the March 2025 contractor letting through the Statewide Transportation Improvement Program. Putnam County

Route 129 – CLOSED at the North Blackbird Creek Bridge for a bridge rehabilitation project through February 2025. (Capital-Horner & Shifrin). ^*1
