SHENANDOAH, Iowa - Shenandoah’s Depot Restaurant is being honored for its contribution to music, earning a place in the Iowa Rock ‘n Roll Hall of Fame.
The iconic venue will be enshrined during ceremonies at Arnolds Park over Labor Day weekend, joining the Ollinger Ballroom in Pocahontas as the 2025 venue inductees.
The Iowa Rock ‘n Roll Music Association highlight's the Depot's connection to the Everly Brothers, who have left a lasting global legacy, with their childhood home located near the Depot.
The Depot’s owner, Bill Hillman, was inducted into the Hall of Fame as a promoter in 2021. The Hall of Fame celebration runs August 29-31.
