A Caldwell County woman suffered serious injuries in a one-vehicle accident Tuesdsay afternoon around 3:40. According to a report from the Missouri Highway Patrol, a 2011 Ford Edge driven by a 74 year old Cameron resident was westbound on Route H-H, eight miles southeast of Cameron, when her vehicle crossed the center line, traveled off the left side of the roadway, struck two warning signs and went down an embankment before overturning and coming to rest on its top.
She was taken to the Cameron Regional Medical Center by ambulance for treatment of serious injuries. The accident was investigated by the Missouri Highway Patrol, the Caldwell County Sheriff's department and Cameron Fire Department.
