Northwest Missouri State women's basketball dropped its second straight game Friday evening in the Fairfield Inn Thanksgiving Classic from St. Joseph.

William Jewell (2-2) beat the Bearcats (1-4) 67-43.

The Cardinals pulled in 14 offensive rebounds and scored 11 second chance points in the win, while also forcing 16 Northwest turnovers.

The 'Cats received 14 points from Kaylani Maiava off the bench, and Jaelyn Haggard added 10 points.
