Lindenwood jumped out to a 13-2 lead in the first quarter and never looked back as they beat Northwest 71-55 Thursday in St. Charles.
The Bearcats (7-14, 3-9 MIAA) received their first 10 points of the game from sophomore Mallory McConkey, but by the time her teammates were able to get involved, Northwest was trailing Lindenwood 26-12.
McConkey finished with 13 points, six rebounds and four assists.
Kylie Coleman put up a career-high 18 points on 7-9 shooting in the win.
The Bearcats finish up the road trip Saturday afternoon in Jefferson City. Northwest squares off with Lincoln at 1pm. Pregame on KXCV 90.5 and KRNW 88.9 begins at 12:40pm.
