Northwest remained unbeaten with a 72-41 victory over Lindenwood Thursday evening.
The Bearcats (22-0, 12-0 MIAA) limited the Lions to their lowest scoring output of the season on 32-percent shooting and 5-22 from three-point range.
While Lindenwood had a hard time jump starting their offense, Northwest shot 60-percent from the field in the first half to open a 41-20 lead at the break.
Joey Witthus, the reigning MIAA Player of the Week, led the 'Cats with 18 points knocking down 4-7 attempts from three-point range.
Trevor Hudgins was 6-10 from the field for 17 points.
Ryan Hawkins recorded his ninth double-double of the season with 10 points and 13 rebounds.
The Bearcats are on the road again Saturday for a 3pm meeting with Lincoln. Pregame on KXCV 90.5 and KRNW 88.9 will begin at 2:40pm.
