Northwest 50, Central Missouri 70

Northwest Missouri State battled with Central Missouri, and led the Jennies at halftime, but couldn't pull out a win in Warrensburg as UCM prevailed 70-50.

Jaelyn Haggard hit a go-ahead three-pointer with 3:31 remaining in the first half, and Kendey Eaton followed with a layup to give the Bearcats (5-4, 1-1 MIAA) a three-point lead. Northwest held onto a 37-36 advantage at halftime.

The Jennies grabbed the lead early in the third quarter, and with 2:28 remaining finished the quarter on a 10-0 run.

Eaton led the Bearcats in scoring with 16 points. Erika Schlosser added nine points, three rebounds and two assists.

The Bearcats are off for the next week during finals, but return to action December 19 and 20 in the Malika Sports Christmas Classic from Honolulu, Hawaii.
