Northwest Missouri State women's basketball trailed Nebraska Kearney by just one at halftime Wednesday night, but Northwest was outscored 26-10 in the 3rd quarter alone as the Lopers ran away with it.

Nebraska Kearney completed the regular season sweep of Northwest with a 68-51 victory.

Molly Hartnett led the 'Cats with 13 points, followed by Peyton Kelderman who added 12 points and three assists.

The Bearcat women are 17-10 and 12-9 in the MIAA.

Northwest hosts Fort Hays State on Senior Day Saturday at 1:30pm. Pregame on KXCV 90.5 and KRNW 88.9 begins at 1pm.
