Northwest Missouri State basketball will hit the road for the second weekend of the New Year.

The Bearcat men's and women's basketball teams will face Central Missouri in Warrensburg Thursday, then head west to face Washburn in Topeka, KS Saturday afternoon.

Northwest men's head coach Matt Keeley and sophomore Trey Moala sat down with John Coffey to discuss the upcoming battles. On the women's side, head coach Austin Meyer, graduate student Caely Kesten and junior Lindsey Kelderman discuss the opportunity to push their record back above .500.

Athletic director Dr. Andy Peterson also joined the program to discuss the hiring of John McMenamin as the new head football coach and the winter sports season.
