Concordia St. Paul's hot start to the season continued Sunday afternoon in a non-conference win 73-58 over Northwest Missouri State.
The Bearcats (1-5) have lost five of six, while the Golden Bears have won five of six.
Northwest trailed by just three at halftime while shooting 44.8% from the field. The team struggled in the second half, however, hitting eight of 32 attempts, and also finished shooting 3-15 on three-point attempts.
The Golden Bears were able to break the game open with a 28-2 run, and led by 20 midway through the second half.
Emorie Knox scored a game-high 22 points. Luke Moustakas added 15 points and seven rebounds.
Northwest is off until a December 3 matchup against Missouri Western in Maryville.
