Northwest Missouri State saw its lead slip away in the third quarter and couldn't recover in the fourth as Nebraska Kearney completed the season sweep of the Bearcats 71-64.
Northwest (9-8, 2-5 MIAA) was outscored 26-11 from late in the first half to the two minute mark in the third quarter. Molly Hartnett tried to will the Bearcats back into the game with a career-high 28 points, but the late push fell short.
In addition to the scoring, Hartnett added six rebounds, six assists and didn't turn the ball over in 35 minutes on the court Thursday night.
Emree Zars added 13 points and five rebounds.
Caely Kesten, Northwest's leading scorer on the season, battled foul trouble throughout the game and ended up with 10 points on four-of-nine shooting.
